So, I made myself sit down today and make some brooch prototypes inspired by lyrics of mine! I think they're really cute, personally, but they're still in the early stages.
This is a pocket watch brooch. It's inspired by one of my songs called Wonderland. For some reason, pocket watches always remind me of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Probably because of the Rabbit. :-P
This one, actually, isn't finished. I want to somehow add raindrops that dangle from it. I think that would be precious!
This particular one was inspired by several lyrics, but mostly from a lyric in my song Sad, Sad Heart. "... And you can watch me as the rain falls, wasting away in the remnants of love's loss."
These aren't really brooches, but I can make some to look almost identical to them. They were all inspired by my song Seasons Change. The two colors of acorns are basically a metaphor for summer turning into fall.
Yet again, not a brooch. BUT, I have made an apple brooch, just don't have a picture of it. This was inspired by a lyric in my song Forever Darling. "They say the apple don't fall too far from the tree and baby you fell right next to me." It's so sweet it's nearly sickening....
I guess it could be inspired by a lyric in Fishies, too. "You're the apple of my eye in this deep blue sea."
.... And this is Mr. Clementine. I know, he looks a little creepy, but I don't think people realize that it's not a happy song. He has "beady eyes" for christ sake. ;-)
Let me know what y'all think of these! PLEASE!!!
IF ANYONE HAS OTHER MERCH IDEAS, LET ME KNOW!
