Since I've been battling sinuses for a little while, I've been getting great sleep!
Of course, being the musical lover I am, I HAVE to listen to SOMETHING as I rest my eyes. This is a list of my favorite albums to sleep to! Check them out!
1. Pines - A Fine Frenzy
This is my go to album for sleep at the moment. It's music in storybook form. Very gorgeous, very easy, very descriptive, and, above all, VERY unique. I've never heard an album like this! It's truly one of a kind.
2. Shadows - Lenka
This album is precious. Lenka wrote it while pregnant and it sounds like lullabies. It's so easy to fall into a dream world while playing this quietly in the background. Each song is effortless and easy on the mind. What more do you need?
3. Eyes Wide Open - Olivia Broadfield
I love Olivia! ESPECIALLY this record! It's so electronic, yet so calm. Each song is really catchy and the lyrics are honest. It's one of those albums that never gets old.
4. Vs. Head Vs. Heart - Emma Louise
It took me a while to really catch on to what this album was trying to say. At first, I thought it was way too drowsy. Now, I know why. It's graceful. It doesn't try to portray itself as anything other than what it actually is. It's straightforward in the greatest way.
5. Drawing Down The Moon - Azure Ray
If you know me at all, you should know that Azure Ray is one of my favorite bands. Good golly gosh, their songs hit me so hard. This album is by far one of their best. It's somewhere between acoustic folk and calm electro-pop. I can't get enough.
Let me know if you decide to check out any of the albums (or just some of the songs). I'd love to hear what you think.
